Family Golf: Married couple who both play golf or one adult and children who play golf.
Single Golf: One adult who
plays golf. If you are married and your spouse DOES NOT play golf, you are eligible for the single golf category. Spouses
of single golfers have social privileges.
Equity Bond: $100 for those members who are required to purchase a bond.
Family Golf and Single Golf Members MUST own a bond. Only members holding a bond may vote or hold office. Upon resignation,
Equity Bond Certificates must be surrendered to the Club.
Intermediate Golf: Intermediate membership shall be available
to individuals between the ages of 21 and 39 inclusive. If married, eligibility shall be determined by the age of the older
spouse. Intermediate members, upon reaching age fourty (40) and having converted to a full golf membership, shall be obligated
to purchase an Equity Bond for $100. No additional initiation fee shall be due upon conversion to full golf status.
Out
of Town: Residence must be over a 60-mile radius from Olympia Country & Golf Club.
Out of State: $300 annual
dues, plus green fees for each round of golf played.
Legacy Program: Legacy status shall be available to a person who is
at least 21 years of age and who is the son, daughter, step-son, or step-daughter of a Family or Single Golf member who has been a
member for no less than three (3) consecutive years. Individuals qualifying for the Legacy Program shall pay an initiation fee
of fifty percent (50%) of the initiatioin fee of the membership category for which said individual qualifies.
Business Entity
Golf: Primary membership is voting and pays a $3,500 initiation fee plus $100 for Equity Bond. Next four (4) are non-voting
and pay a $500 initiation fee. Each membership pays monthly dues based on their membership category, plus all applicable fees
and taxes. Please contact office for more details regarding more than five memberships.
Junior Golf: Available to
individuals between the ages of 14 and 21 inclusive. Junior Golf members are NOT allowed to bring guests to the golf course.
They may bring guests to the pool, but guests must pay applicable pool fees.
Capital Improvement Dues: Effective
July 1, 1997, the Board of Directors voted to set aside a portion of the member dues to be placed in a capital improvement fund to
pay for improvements to the clubhouse and golf course.
Minimum Spending (MSP): Each required membership must spend $120
(per calendar quarter) on food and/or beverages. TAX AND TIPS DO NOT COUNT towards the MSP amount. Any amounts not spent
will be billed to the member's account as a separate line item on his/her statement.
Golf Tax: The Washington State Department
of Revenue has imposed a tax on rounds of golf played by members. The monthly tax currently is $20 for family golf and $10 for
single golf.
Pro Shop Plan: Effective July 1, 2000, the Board of Directors instituted a mandatory Pro Shop Service Plan
for golfing members. Benefits include unlimited range balls, towel service, free golf tees, free ball markers and free use of pull
carts. The Pro Shop Plan charge is taxable.
Green Fees: Guests of members who have golfing privileges shall be subject
to green fees as established by the Board of Directors. Guests of members shall not be allowed to play the course more than
tree times during a calendar year.
Applications for membership shall be on a form available from the Club Office. The completed
application must be returned to the Club Office to activiate the membership process. The required initiation fee must accompany
all applications. All applications must provide the Club with the name and signature of two current members. The application
will then be submitted to the Board of Directors at the next monthly meeting for consideration. All persons of legal age, regardless
of sex, race, age, or religious preference to apply for membership and no person shall be rejected by reason of the foregoing. Due
